This obituary was personally written by Jeff himself.
Jeffrey R. Olson, 68, of Ashwaubenon passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on March 20, 2021.
Jeff was born on January 13, 1953 to the late Jack (Chum) and Dorothy (Dot) Olson in Green Bay, WI.
He attended the Ashwaubenon Public School system where he graduated in 1972.
Jeff worked at several jobs after high school but his most memorable and proudest was his 20+ years that he served on the Green Bay Preble Maintenance staff, which he retired from in 2016.
His happiest moments in life were when he would spend time at his family cottage on Lake Lotto, boating on the Fox and the Bay and making anyone he came in contact with laugh and smile.
Jeff is survived by his sisters Wendy (Dennis) Tischendorf, Pam (Pat) Byrne and brother Eric (Pam) Olson.
Also surviving is his nephew and godson Patrick (Laura) Byrne; nephews Ryan (Michelle) Byrne and Richard Byrne (Joey); his very special nephew Clay Olson (Mallory Kallas); goddaughter Kelsey O’Donnell-Mauthe; very special friends Pam and Joel Westphal and Bob O’Donnell; and his favorite cousin Susie Fostner; as well as great nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and acquaintances he acquired over his lifetime.
Jeff would like everyone to live by and follow his mottos: “When you're smiling the whole world smiles with you” and “Learn to love and accept the differences of others.”
Per Jeff’s request, no services will be held.
