Jerome "Jerry" Tierney

Jerome “Jerry” Clyde Tierney, 81, Green Bay, died at home Tuesday evening, Dec. 2, 2014. Jerry was born in Green Bay on Jan. 27, 1933. He was a 1951 graduate of Catholic Central. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed for 30 years in Wisconsin Corrections and served as president of the union. Jerry was an avid golfer. He loved to fly his Piper Cub, boating and spending time with his family along with many other activities.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sherry Tierney; 1 sister, Kathleen Tierney; 1 sister–in-law, Mary Tierney; his children, Brian (Nancy) Tierney, Tim Tierney, Jessica (Timothy) Pedretti, Terry (Karla) Tierney, Penny (Rick) Holterman, Kelly (Donna) Tierney, Peter (Mapi) Rogers, Barbara Rogers-Lauflin; grandchilden, Justin (Susan) Baloun, Megan Zaragoza, Liz Pedretti, Katie (Nick) Beinzen, Daniel Pedretti, Kristin Robert, Jennie Pedretti, Paige Holterman, Cullen Holterman, Emma Tierney, Nicholas Tierney, William Tierney, Niko Rogers, Mariana Rogers; great-grandchildren; Aryanna Zaragoza, Allen Lockridge, and Kyra Holterman.

He was preceded in death by his first, wife Barbara Tierney; brother, William Tierney; and sister, Shelagh Nederfield.

Visitation at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum in the Atrium Chapel (Nearest to Webster Ave.), 2121 Riverside Drive, Saturday, Dec. 6, from 12 noon until 3pm.
