Jody Schober

January 19, 1955 — February 11, 2023

Jody (Harris) Schober, 68, passed away on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. Jody was admitted to St.
Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, February 3rd, where her entire family was able to be by her side throughout
the week. Jody had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2022 but ended up losing her
battle once treatments were no longer able to be continued.

Jody was born on January 19th, 1955, in Panama City, Florida to Roger and Jeanne (Schindler) Harris. She
was the oldest of four children. The family later moved to Wauwatosa, WI, where Jody attended
Wauwatosa West High School. She went on to college at MATC to study nursing.

Jody met Mark Peskie at MATC, they married in 1978 and moved to Amherst Jct., WI and went on to
have four children. The family then moved to Iola, WI in 1994.

Through the years, Jody devoted much of her career to helping patients in various CNA roles. Once
blessed with grandchildren, those moments consumed much of her time. She cherished the time she
was able to spend with her children and grandchildren with cookouts, crafting and sporting events. Her
love and admiration for Mickey Mouse will forever live on through her children and grandchildren.

Jody was preceded in death by her father, Roger Harris.

She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Harris of Brookfield, WI; her children; Katie (John) Hauke of Iola,
WI, Josh (Autumn Vander Velden) Peskie of Appleton, WI, Mark (Carmen) Peskie of Iola, WI, and Ashley
Peskie of Plover, WI; grandchildren; Carter Healy, Taedym Peskie, Cylie Healy, and Tamari Peskie; sister
and brother-in-law, Julie (Tim) Powers of Neshkoro; brother, Mark Harris of Wauwatosa; and brother
and sister-in-law, Jeff (Bev) Harris of Waukesha.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation for the entire St. Elizabeth Hospital staff
that helped keep her in comfort during her last moments.

The family will be holding a small memorial in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate
donations be made in Jody’s honor to any cancer foundation which may have affected a family member
or loved one of yours in the past.
