John Michael Dolibois

Dr. John Michael Dolibois, age 80, died peacefully at home on September 11, 2024 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. He was married to Alison Hodgson Dolibois for 57 years. Their two daughters are Kristen (Brian) Naughton and Lauren (Chris) Sheahan. He had five grandchildren.

Mike, as he preferred to be called, was born in Waynesboro, Pa and grew up in Oxford,Ohio. He graduated from Miami University and the attended and graduated from Cincinati College of Medicine. He followed with a residency in Orthopedic Surgery in Columbus, Ohio.

His career as an Orthopedist spanned forty one years and four states starting in Hamilton, Ohio and ending in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. He was loved by his patients for his skill and his warm bedside manner.

His friends and family will remember him for his quick wit and saucy sense of humor.He became a Packers fan when he moved to Wisconsin, but his knowledge of the game came from the thirteen years he spent on the sidelines as Miami University team orthopedist.

Per his request there will be no funeral. A gathering of family and close friends will celebrate his life at a later date.
