John W. Huber, age 73, died on April 8, 2017 while in the care of Calumet County Hospice and Atrium Constant Care in Chilton, WI. John is survived by his wife, Terri of N. Fond du Lac, WI; his daughter Natalie (Tom) Simon,of Wheaton, IL, his son John J. Huber, of Boulder, CO; and his three grandchildren, Allysen Huber, Nina Simon and Jack Simon. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Huber, mother Ruth Huber, and his sister Pamela Huber, all of Lake Villa, IL
John was born on September 7, 1943 in Norman, OK. He was a graduate of Grayslake High School.
John served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as an aircraft mechanic.
He was a great family man, loving husband and father. He married Terri Roberts in 1972 and the couple had two children together.
He was a deeply devoted Christian who loved sharing his faith with everyone he met. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed reading his bible, listening to good music and cooking. His family and friends will always remember him as a real prayer warrior who cared deeply for his family, his Pastor, church family, and friends.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 1:00 pm, at First Baptist Church of Fond du Lac, 721 Scott St., Fond du Lac, WI and will be led by Pastor Larry Witt. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John’s life.
