John Verville

John Keith Verville, 56, passed away peacefully at Aurora Hospital in Green Bay, WI after a lengthy illness on October 8th, 2023 with his family by his side.

John was born in White Pine, Michigan on December 5th, 1966 to Late Keith Verville and Mary “Dolly” Verville-Pakonen. After high school he played the drums in a band called ‘Main Street’ that him and his friends formed and played almost every weekend through college. He always had the biggest smile in the room and knew exactly how to make anyone laugh.

John received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan and went on to work for the state of Wisconsin as a correctional officer for 26 years. His greatest achievement was being a father and he more than succeeded at that. He never missed a game or competition and he always supported and loved his kids through everything they did.

John is survived by his mother, Mary “Dolly” Verville-Pakonen; his sister, MaryBeth (Richard) Barlock; his three daughters, Jacqueline Verville, Jessica (Cassandra) Verville and Danielle (Tyler) Mosupye; The mother of his children, Elizabeth Wigger (Leiker); and his two granddaughters, Kali Verville-Turner and Aurielle Mosupye.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Keith Verville (2000) and his dog Jordan Verville.
