Joyce Lankford

Joyce Annette Lankford, age 95, of Fremont, WI passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2023 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on April 6th, 1928 the daughter of late Thaxter and Ruth (DeWall) Kinsman. She married Earl "Butch" Lankford in Fremont, WI on April 6th, 1947. He preceded her in death April 30th, 1988. Joyce enjoyed baking, shopping, hunting, fishing, birdwatching and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont, American Legion Auxiliary in Fremont and one of the found Fremont Historical Society members.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Cindy Draper; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Jack) Lankford-Wohlt; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Keith Cook) Draper, Angie (Mike Hidde) Borntrager, and Travis Lankford; three great-grandchildren, Taylin (Brianna Darga) Draper, Jolie (Jordan) Hauck and Micah Borntrager; and her great-great grandson (the apple of her eye), Denver Lynn Draper; nieces, Kim (Jay) Dahl and children, Jodi (Jason) Dumbleton and children, and nephew, David (Sherry) Kinsman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Guy "Butch" Lankford; brother, David (Pat) Kinsman; son-in-law, Lynn Draper; brother-in-law, Dick Lankford; and sister-in-law, Del (Bob) Russert. 

As per Joyce's wish there will be no funeral services.

The family would like to thank the staff at St Joseph's Residence for their excellent and loving care throughout Joyce's stay with them.
