Julie Ann Quigley, 64, of De Pere, born December 3, 1954 in Brussels, WI to Alvin and Arbutis Simon, died at St. Vincent Hospital after losing her battle with cancer, February 22, 2019. Survivors include her brother, Philip Simon of Brussels; children, Thomas and Pamela Quigley of Green Bay and Jacob Quigley and special friend, Ammie of Brussels; 6 grandchildren, Alex, Simon, Riley, Caleb, Henry and Katie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alvin and Arbutis Simon; brothers and sisters, Sharon Kaminski, Carole Counard, Larry Simon, Roy Simon, Christine Simon, and Jo Ann Terlecky.
She also left behind several people who were very special to her, Brad Stankevitz, Janice and Steve Erickson, JR Sakkinen, Jess Vercauteren, Chad and Tonya Kaminski, and dog, Whip.
Julie graduated a semester early from Southern Door High School in 1972. In 1986, Julie graduated from NWTC with 2 degrees. Julie was an active volunteer and gave selflessly of her time to the Moose Lodge, Elk Lodge, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Julie has land in Amberg WI that she loved to spend time at doing painting, playing cards, reading, and planting trees.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 24th at the Rite Place, 1580 Bellevue Street, Green Bay WI., from 12pm (noon) - 4:00pm. Please come to share memories and there will be food.
