Kathleen Smith, 76, of Appleton, Wisconsin had passed peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2025. She was quite the spiritual woman, and yet had a fiery spunk to her that could make you wonder. Kathleen was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on November 15, 1949 to parents Howard and Bonnie Barnes (nee Zarling).
Some more recent memories of Kathleens jobs included being a medical transcriptionist (self employed), and was in a partnership business with her sister (Christine Lashley), and that business was known as Tuck Undies. They had worked together in that business at least a few years or more.
Kathleen is survived by her three children, Johnathon, Matthew (Wendy), and Luke. Her older sister Christine (Jerry), and younger brother, Patrick (Sandra), Her grandchildren Sara, Marie, Lisa, Donny (Caitlin), and Hunter (Larissa), and great granddaughter Leandra (Don and Caitlin's daughter), along with her aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, former husbands Edward, and Bret, and her pets.
Would like to thank her neighbors Steve and Carla that were close to her and being wonderful and also being supportive of the events that had happened recently.
We will have a special memorial service for Kathleen at a later date. And will update when it becomes available. Thank you.
