Kathleen "Kat" Smith age 49, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center Oshkosh on Saturday June 18th, 2022. Kat was born Oct 16th, 1972 to Ole and Loretta Smith in Oshkosh Wisconsin.
Kat attended Oshkosh West High school and was a private caregiver most of her career. Kat was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved her Sunday football with the Bears!
Kat is survived by daughter Zoey Brechlin of Bismark, North Dakota mother Loretta Smith of Oshkosh and special friend Harry Johnson of Oshkosh. Brothers Will (Gris) Smith of Pensacola, Florida. Gerry (Sue) Smith and Daniel (Jill) Smith all of Oshkosh. Special aunts Sue ( Wayne) Neumann of Oshkosh and Kim Kuhnz of Jupiter, Florida. Also, many cousins nieces and nephews.
Kat was preceded in death by her father Ole, grandparents Fenton and Lois Angle and Florence Kuhnz of Oshkosh.
A special thanks goes out to niece Heather Struck and Jamison Schriver for their care and compassion through these past several months. Also, Mary Brechlin of Illinois for her kindness through the past several years.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
