Kathryn M. Prosser

Kathryn “Katie” M. Prosser, 83, Green Bay, passed away after a brief illness on January 5, 2018, with family by her side. Born on November 25, 1934, in Brussels, Wis., she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Carpiaux. Katie is a graduate of Green Bay East High School. On February 12, 1955, she married Erv Prosser. Katie and Erv owned and operated Prosser Candies for much of her life. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events. Her greatest enjoyment was being “granny.” Katie was an accomplished bowler, and she played on a team with her sisters for many years.

Katie is survived by her loving husband, Erv; three children, Marc (Sheri) Prosser, Becky (Steve) Hebel, and Amy (Rob) Smith; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one brother, Jules Carpiaux; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Prosser; one daughter, Candia “Candi” Doherty; one grandson, Nicklaus; and 13 siblings.

A life celebration will take place at a later date. Simply Cremation and Funerals is assisting the family with cremation services.
