Kind and generous friend to so many, Ken Ward passed away February 1, 2021 at his home.
Born December 19, 1936, to Audrey and Vernon Ward in Green Bay, he attended Catholic Central High, graduating in 1955.
Ken was employed with the Milwaukee Road Railroad as a detective for several years. In 1968 Ken established a successful business in the petroleum equipment industry. The Ken Ward Company grew domestically and internationally over the next forty-three years. He sold his business to retire in 2011.
Of the many accomplishments in his life, the one that gave him so much joy and satisfaction was to serve on the board of the Green Bay Humane Society. During that time, he was an integral part of the design team, raising funds for, and building what is now known as the Green Bay Campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society.
