A wonderful man has been reunited with those who have passed before him.
Kevin Robert Regalia, 63, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away at home on December 10, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones, after a long battle with prostate cancer.
Kevin was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on September 9, 1959, to parents Robert and Jonita (nee Kundinger) Regalia.
On September 29, 1990, Kevin married Ann Marie Petska in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Kevin was an exceptionally kind and generous man who would do anything, for anyone. When something had to be done or he had a project in mind he’d give 110% of himself. Kevin was a master at home projects; landscaping, painting, building, hanging pictures that were perfectly level, and so much more. He shared his talents by helping many friends and family over the years. He even embraced his Italian heritage for a while and became the best bread maker in the neighborhood. One of Kevin’s favorite past times was playing endless games of cribbage or backgammon at his friend Goofy's cottage during weekends up north.
Kevin could make people happy without even trying. His quick wit and sarcasm were notorious for making people cry from laughing so hard. His jokes (often times inappropriate), stories, and impersonations would keep even the most serious people in stitches and liven up any situation.
For those who knew Kevin Regalia, he will forever hold a long warm place in our hearts. His memories will bring a smile to the face of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
Kevin is survived by his wife Ann and son Anthony, in-laws Harvey (Delores), brother-in-law’s Jerry (Lynn) and Jeff, sister-in-law Chris (Joe), Cousin Kay (Paul), nieces Jennifer (Kevin), Amber (Jeremy), Becky, Ronda (Mark), and nephews Ryan (Faith) and Reed (Bridget), God Daughter Jenna (Michael) many great nieces and nephews, and his very special cat Ella (a.k.a. Precious)
Kevin is preceded in death by his mother Jonita Regalia and father Robert Regalia, maternal and paternal grandparents, and aunts and uncles.
Special thank you to the Aurora Health at Home team who were at our side the entire way. To Andrea for putting up with Kevin's (unfiltered personality) and for sharing her delicious recipes. To the rest of Kevin's Hospice team, thank you for helping us make some good memories through this. To Jim Glass, what he did for Kevin is too long to list. Best of all he was a friend. It didn't matter what time of day; Jim was there if Kevin needed him. We are especially grateful for the endless supply of smoothies he'd bring to Kevin (and Ann).
Honoring Kevin’s wishes, there will be a private ceremony held with family. A public celebration of life will be held in March 2023.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Advocate Aurora Home
