Kim Bricko

Kim M. Bricko (Kersten) passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. She was born on July 12, 1964 in Kaukauna, WI to Robert and Mary Kersten.

Kim was passionate about teaching children and ran a daycare for many years. Through the years Kim loved being outdoors, reading, spending time with her faithful dog and helping others. Kim always had a positive attitude and during life’s struggles would often say “this too shall pass” showing her drive to overcome any obstacles in her way.

Along with her parents, Robert & Mary Kersten of Mountain, WI, Kim is survived by her son Justin Kersten of Kaukauna; daughter Danielle Kersten of Freedom; and her grandchildren Colin, Adriana, and Deacon. She is also survived by one brother Steve (Angel) Kersten of Kingsland, GA, two sisters Shari (Joe) Ebben of Little Chute, and Kelly (Glen) Webster of Kaukauna, and many nieces and nephews. Kim also leaves behind a special friend Keith, who was by her during the difficult times.

Kim truly lived by the motto that it is better to give than receive, as she was always putting others before herself. A private service will be held and in lieu of flowers we ask that all who wish to honor Kim make a donation to any children's organization in her name.
