Lee Michael Valind, born on January 7, 1985, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2024, at the age of 39.

Lee is survived by his son Isaiah Valind; his father, Bruce Valind; his siblings, Trent (Larissa) Powell; Miranda (Juan) Cuellar-Trejo; his nieces Laticia Cuellar-Trejo, Aryana Cuellar-Trejo, Kate Powell and Alivia Powell, and nephews Antonio Cuellar-Trejo, Marcos Cuellar-Trejo, and Chas Powell. His girlfriend Michelle Marie Peters, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie Valind; his aunt, Lisa Wery; his uncle, John Van Rossum; his grandparents, Charles and Beverly Wery; and his grandparents, Pete and Dorothy Valind.

Lee had a passion for fishing and was particularly skilled at catching fish from shore “river fishing”. Lee at a very young age was able to walk up to almost any river or stream and pull-out beautiful fish. He was a lover of nature, full of life and could always get you to crack a smile. Despite his battles with addiction, he remained a beloved father, brother, and son. We hope he has found peace.

A celebration of Lee's life will be held on July 20, 2024, at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary -Estuary Room - 1660 East Shore Drive, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a small lunch and refreshments to follow until 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Lee's memory and share the stories and experiences that made him a beloved figure in their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be adding any donations to a memorial brick that will be placed at the Wildlife Sanctuary in Lee’s name to honor his love of the bountiful wildlife of Green Bay and the Fox River.
