Linda Rae Flauger, 65, of Green Bay, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer and heart trouble.
Linda was born December 16, 1952, to John and Mary Roessler Flauger of Shawano. A graduate of Shawano High School, Linda first worked the Shawano Evening Leader and then at Muehl’s Furniture in Shawano. Linda later moved to Green Bay and worked for H.C. Prange, Elder Beerman, Kohl’s West store, and for twenty years at United Health. Linda enjoyed watching news shows, garage sales with Aunt Loretta, Beanie Babies, helping Uncle Peter Dooley and Aunt Loretta with art shows, and spending time with her family and friends, especially nieces and nephews Doug, Laura, Susan, Tim, Mandy, and Matt.
Linda is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and William Hoppe of Shawano; Rita and Randy Staub of Iron River, Michigan; Fran and Sam Miller of Germantown; Patrice and Terry Asiala of Green Bay; and her brother and sister-in-law John and Susan Flauger of Shawano. Linda is also by many grand nieces and nephews, and great grands who will miss her loving attention. A special aunt Loretta Roessler Dooley of Madison, WI, also survives.
Linda’s parents, a sister Becky, and many wonderful aunts and uncles from the Gresham and Sauk City area who always made life special preceded Linda in death.
A memorial service will be held on December 22, 2018, at Nativity Catholic Church in Green Bay. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Ingold officiating. Linda will be interred next to her parents at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Shawano.
