Lisa Ann Van Donsel

June 20, 1957 — September 22, 2017

Lisa A. Van Donsel, 60, Green Bay, passed away September 22, 2017, from complications of MS and Lupus. Born on June 20, 1957, in Green Bay she is the daughter of Patricia O. Van Donsel and the late Merlyn H. Van Donsel. Lisa graduated from the University of Green Bay in Social Work. She worked for Farmers Union in Door County at the beginning of her career and then she was with Lutheran Social Services developing Group Homes and programs for the chronically mentally ill. Lisa did a lot of volunteer working at Heritage Hill, Botanical Gardens, Mental Health Association, MS Association, and the Democratic Party. She enjoyed planting, traveling, and was a life-time learner, learning sewing, baking, jewelry making, collecting, and beading. Lisa was very interested in the Arts, including Fine Art, plays, and glass.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia; two sisters and three brothers, Faith M. (Lester) Beam of Sobieski, Pamela R. Greenberg of Green Bay, Keith A. (Heidi) Van Donsel of Luxemburg, Chad A. (Renee) Van Donsel of Luxemburg, and Tim A. Van Donsel of Maribel; many nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Merlyn; her grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Visitation at Green Bay Botanical Gardens, 2600 Larsen Rd, on Thursday, September 28 from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.

The family would like to extend a special thank to Unity Hospice especially the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence.
