Louis Robert Tauscher, 88, Green Bay, Wis., passed away at home with family by his side on October 19, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 15, 1928, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Lewis and Delia (Brie) Tauscher. Louis married Jane Susan Nowak on September 3, 1949, at Grace Lutheran Church, Green Bay WI. Together they raised four children. Louie retired from FMC Corp. in 1986, and he and his wife Jane spent their retirement years up north (God's Country) in the Pembine, area. After Jane passed on to eternal life in 2009, Louie moved back to the Green Bay area to be closer to his family.
Louie is survived by his children and spouses, Kathleen Loos, Christine (Darrell) Naze, Susan Stein, and Steven (Cheryl) Tauscher ; nine grandchildren, Natalie (John) Walker, Ben (Jenny) Naze, Robert (Victoria) Loos, Terra (Michael) Ponchard, Eric Stein, Sarah (Jake) Burfiend, Karen Tauscher, Lisa (Ron) Orosco, and Sean Tauscher; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Sharp (George) and Ruth Dahl; sister-in-law and brother in law, Irene (Bernard) DePrey; and several nieces and nephews and friends.
Louie was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; parents Lewis and Delia Tauscher; brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Dottie) Tauscher; sister and brother-in-law, Doris (Stanley) Parks; and a son-in-law, Robert Loos Jr.
Visitation at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 2-3 p.m., with a celebration of Louie's life and faith at 3:00 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Larry Lange officiating. Private burial at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Simply Cremation is assisting the family with cremation services, 431-0100.
