Louise Mary Mackey

Louise (Hicks) Mackey, age 75 of Green Bay, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Louise was born in Green Bay to the late Stewart and Martha (Petka) LaFave on January 12, 1946.
She attended St. Joseph Grade School in West De Pere, West De Pere High School and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
She was united in marriage to Dean Hicks on July 2, 1966 at the National Shrine of St. Joseph Church in West De Pere. They were married 24 and a half years before Dean passed away. On December 27, 1991 Louise married Larry J. (Rabbit) Mackey in Allouez, WI.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry; sons, Greg (Lisa) Hicks of De Pere; Chad (Stephanie) Hicks of Northport, WA; grandchildren, Sarah (Dayne) Shuda, Craig, Rebecca and Nicole Hicks; great granddaughter, Norah Shuda; grandson, Dean Sr. (Ashley) Keyzer and their children Machenzie and Dean Jr of Fredrichsburg, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents; in laws, Walter and Laura Hicks and Bernie Mackey and Julie Grosso; her beloved husband, Dean; and dear daughter, Jennie Deanne Hicks-Keyzer.
Per Louise’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Compassus Hospice who were there the whole way for Louise.
