Margery Ellen (Letter) Binder's journey of earthly life concluded on Dec. 25, 2024 with her family at her side. Marge was born on Oct. 13, 1953 to Donald and Carol (Busch) Letter in Clintonville, Wisconsin. She grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and spent many summers at the Letter family compound on Chambers Island. Marge graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Accounting. She became a CPA and worked for Arthur Anderson (Marge would want you to know that she wasn't involved in the Enron audit), Catholic Knights, American Family, and Wauwatosa Realty. Marge eventually ran her own CPA business. She had a love of numbers and was a very good CPA. She enjoyed birding and was quite knowledgeable with bird identification. When living in Milwaukee, Marge was very involved with the Audubon Society. She and Jerry enjoyed cooking and tried many new recipes. They were always open to new foods and flavors. Marge was so happy in living in Green Bay and being close to her family.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Amy Siewert. She is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Halaska; her sister, Susan (Thomas) Ley; her brother, Mark (Laura) Letter; her sister, Laurie Letter; and her brother-in-law, Todd Siewert. Marge is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Kelsey (Neil) Dorner, Jessica Ley (Ray) Dempsey, Edward Ley, Andrew (Mary Kate) Letter, Olivia Letter, Veronica (Sam) Wittwer, David Letter, Jake (Lauren) Siewert; her great-nieces Penelope Dempsey and Maria Wittwer; and her great-nephews, Charles Dorner, Ethan Dorner, and Leo Dempsey.
A heartfelt "Thank you" to Dr. Diaban, Elizabeth, Cassie, JJ, and others at the Aurora BayCare ICU. Your compassion and care were exemplary.
