Marie (Lewis) Piontek, Oconto, passed away September 20, 2021 surrounded by family.
She was born in Neenah, WI to Ed and Leila (Sawings) Crossman on December 15, 1934.
Marie enjoyed berry picking, casinos, accordion playing, sewing, traveling and being with her family.
She married Gerald Lewis on June 23, 1951. They spent 28 years together until he passed away July 16, 1979. She married John Piontek on December 9, 1980 until he preceded her in death January 1, 2006.
She is survived by Susan Reed, Gerald (Nancy) Lewis, Steven Lewis, Karen (Rick) Wenzel, Sarah (Charles) Wenzel, Duane (Kim) Lewis, 24 grandkids, 40 great grandkids, 8 great-great grandkids and her sister, Marcella Hultman.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Lewis, John Piontek, Phyllis Morrow, Gene and George Crossman, LeeAnn Maddix, Ellen Lewis, Robert Reed, David Maddix, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held at Oconto United Methodist Church October 2, 2021. Visitation will be 9-11am with an 11am service led by Pastor Fred Schulz. A burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Oconto.
