Marilyn Elizabeth Kowalski passed away October 30th, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 8th, 1952.
Marilyn was a dental assistant in her early career. She then became a massage therapist which was her true calling. She loved making her clients feel better. Marilyn loved her family and friends dearly, especially loved her time with her grandson Carter who was her “little sunshine”.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Dave; her son Corey (Kelli) Horochov; sons in law: Mark (Jenny) Kowalski, Keith (Lanae) Kowalski and grandchildren Carter Horochov, Brooke, Allison and Jacob Kowalski, and Trentin and Braxtin Bell.
She is further survived by her brother Ken (Barb) Quigley, sister’s Jean (Del) Cota; Dotti (Jim) Huven, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita (Tiesling) Quigley and father, Norbert Quigley.
In honoring her wishes, she has chosen cremation with a funeral service held on November 13th at 10:30AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 3425 Willow Road, and there will be a small luncheon gathering to follow mass. Marilyn’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital as well as Unity Hospice for their care and compassion. Marilyn had the best caregivers, truly angels who helped care for her when we could not.
