Martin "Marty" Schaut

April 21, 1958 — July 27, 2017

Marty Schaut, 59, of Green Bay, died Thursday July 27, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay on April 21, 1958 to Norel and Carole (Davis) Schaut. He graduated from Green Bay West Hight School in 1976.

Marty really enjoyed working for Edward Martin at H. J. Martin and Son as a material handler for 34 years.

If Marty wasn’t at work he loved to entertain his family and friends while playing cards, horseshoes, and his oldies music loudly. He also enjoyed watching his Green Bay Packers and NASCAR races while having a few beers.

Marty is survived by his parents Norel and Carole Schaut (Green Bay); daughter Alysha Schaut; son Marty N. Schaut; step-daughter Richelle Wasmund; and their mother Mary Ellen Schaut. He has 2 grandchildren: Deric Leudeman and Alayah Walker. All from Green Bay. Four sisters: Sandy and Gary Stankevitz (Green Bay); Sue and Todd Kabacinski (Sobieski); Shelly and John Zambrowicz (Green Bay); Saucey and Bob Kuczer (Pulaski). Three brothers: Mark and Kristi Schaut (Oakdale, MN); Marshall and Cheryl Schaut (Wrightstown); Mitchell Schaut and Sherry Stalter (Green Bay); and sister in law, Jonell Coenen (Green Bay). Also, many nieces and nephews.

Marty was preceded in death by his brother Michael Schaut and his nieces Nicole Schaut and Ashley Schaut.

Marty will be missed by his family and friends, especially is best friend Bob Nickiel, and his girlfriend, Jenny Felker, who gave him so much love and support.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Unity Hospice and a very special thank you to Edward Martin.

A private service will be held later.
