Mary Lou Lee, 69, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes, March 18, 2024, at her home. Born on May 8, 1954, in Whitehall, she is the daughter of the late Harold and Irene Fremstad. Mary Lou is a graduate of Whitehall High School, Class of 1972. She married Randy Lee on April 20, 1974, in Pigeon Falls, WI. As a younger adult, she worked as a caregiver for many years before eventually graduating from Viterbo College, La Crosse, receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing. Mary Lou settled into providing in home care for many years, providing compassionate care, working with Home Instead and eventually providing this care as a private provider.

Mary Lou will be remembered for her joy of gardening, spending time outdoors walking and for her love of astronomy, dreaming about the moon and stars. She was most proud caring for her three great-grandchildren, who she loved so much.

Mary Lou is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Danielle and John DeJardine, of Algoma and Michelle and Shane Brady of Green Bay; and their dad, Randy (Terri) Lee, of Kewaunee; grandchildren, Courtney and Brittany; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, T. J. and Bryleigh; siblings, Rolfe (Jane) Fremstad, Kristi (Larry) Sobotta, Susan (Bruce) Hilke, Steven (Martha) Fremstad; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronnie Fremstad. 

There will be a private Celebration of Life at a future date at the farmstead where she grew up. 

Mary Lou, you will be greatly missed by so many. 

The family would like to thank her special friends, Deanna and Kari. Mary Lou treasured your friendship and times spent together.
