May Yang - Benton
Green Bay - May Yang - Benton, age 42, of Green Bay, WI, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born on August 30, 1979, to Fong Yang and Xee Ly Yang in Thailand. She moved to America as a baby.
She met Timothy Benton on October 19, 2000, and never were apart until the Lord called her home. They had a wonderful son, Devlin Robert Benton, on June 17, 2005; he was the joy of her life.
When she was younger, she worked for A & W, then went into business with her husband. She loved to read, took pictures of everything, and watched romantic movies. She also loved to help her husband write stories, gave tremendous input to what he wrote.
She loved God, even when she was sick and bedridden, never stopped talking to him. She loved Christmas and spoiling children.
She had a free spirit, used to dance in the rain. Above all, her life was all about her child and husband; nothing ever stood in greater importance to her. She was giving, loved many, and will be missed by many. Devlin, your momma loved you so much that she was willing to fight for years with illness to watch you grow up; you meant everything to her.
May is survived by her husband, Timothy Benton: her child, Devlin Benton, her sisters and brothers, Chuck Yang, Adam Yang, Mary Yang, Lee Yang, Peter Yang, Johnny Yang, Sarah Yang, Melanie Yang, and Anna Yang.
May is preceded in death by her parents, Fong Yang and Xee Ly Yang, her brother-in-law Phillip Rodgers, her Nephews Derick Benton and Jacob Kappler.
May will be cremated on Wednesday, September 29th. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 30th, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Malcore (WEST) Funeral Homes, 1530 W Mason, Green Bay. She will be buried on Saturday, October 23rd, near her mother.
I can only say, “Goodbye, my love” you were my joy, my life; you inspired me in ways you never knew, but I did my best to tell you and show you every day. You fought, but when COVID came, you were too weak to fight on, “I love you so much, and will miss you until my dying breath, then we will once more be able to laugh and share our dreams! Until then, I will miss you, my love!” Your loving husband, Tim.
