Michael Avery, 52, Green Bay, was called home December 7, 2018, while at home with his wife by his side. Michael was born in Alameda, CA, to Michael Avery Sr. and the late Maria Cheek. He married Samantha Albertson on September 4, 2004.
Michael enjoyed football, the 49ers and the Packers, fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his dogs, while sitting outside in the back yard, and doing 5 hour BBQ’s. His wife and youngest daughter will always remember the times the three of them did “Family movie night” all curled up together with the pets included.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha; three children, Helen, Christina, and Bradley; two grandchildren, Charles and Emily; step-mother, Sherri and step-father, Ron Ohara; brothers, Dee Avery and Mike Price; and sisters, Michelle (Scott) Speckman and Alicia Fuller.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria; step-mother, Sherry; brothers, Troy and Victor; and brother-in-law, Sgt. Louis Griese.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
