Michael “Mike” Norman, 68, Green Bay, formerly of Francis Creek, passed away at home Sunday morning, Dec. 10, 2017. Born April 24, 1949, in Milwaukee, he is the son of John “Jack’ and Barbara Norman. Mike was drafted into the Army, serving in the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. He married the former Margaret “Peggy” Zelinski on June 24, 1989, in Manitowoc. Mike was employed with and retired from Fischer Hamilton in Two Rivers after ten years of service. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, feeding the deer and turkey, riding horse and working on the yard with his Allis Chalmers tractor. Mike enjoyed grilling on his clean Traeger grill and watching the Packers. He will long be remembered for his outstanding sense of humor.
Mike is survived by his wife, Peggy; three son, Erik Norman, Appleton, Josh Norman, California and Jason Hanson, Mishicot; grandchildren, Jaydehn, Van, Dimitri, Colin, Ethan and Elly; parents, Jack and Barbara of Grafton; siblings, Pat Jensen, St. Croix Falls, John (Karen) Norman, Jr., Cedarburg, Sue (John) Valko, Racine, and Jane (Joe) Lepold, Grafton; numerous nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Brownee.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lorraine Zelinski; brother-in-law, Larry Jensen; and nephew, Joey Lepold.
Visitation at Sepia Chapel, 3562 Finger Rd, Green Bay, Monday, Dec. 18 from 1-2pm. Memorial service 2pm Monday at Sepia Chapel followed by military honors. Simply Cremation, Green Bay is serving the family.
