Mary Ann Carini (nee Fischer) age 65, and Michael Albert Carini (age 68) passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2024. They were married in 1992 in Minoqua and lived in Appleton WI.
Mary attended Mount Mary University and later worked as an insurance representative at Progressive Benefit Administrators (PBA), where her lively personality brought her professional success and many friendships. Mike was a Master Electrician at Kimberly Clark and a member of USW Local 2-482. He was noted for his precision and commitment to his clients. In 2015 Mike was named to the Fox Cities United Way Board of Directors.
Mary enjoyed decorating their home, cooking, gardening, and exploring paths to spirituality. Mike was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with their grandsons. The boys adored water fights in the backyard pool, going to the park, and learning to cook with their Papa.
The Carinis loved their Appleton home but hated the cold winters, so when temperatures dropped, the sun lovers escaped to beautiful Isla Mujeres in Mexico for two months each year. They were never so happy as they were on the beach, soaking up rays and relaxing. They also loved spending time at a family cabin in Little Spider Lake, where they could set their internal clocks on slowdown mode and enjoy nature.
A memorial service for Mary and Mike will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 A.M. at Celebration Church, 400 3rd St, Menasha, Pastor Phil Gunger officiating.
