Nancy Gremminger

April 17, 1930 — October 31, 2024

Nancy passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior and her many loved ones waiting for her arrival on October 31, 2024. She was surrounded by family and the loving care of the staff at Caretta Senior Living facility.

She was born April 17, 1930, to parents, Hilary and Catherine née Hinger Martin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She went through high school until needed at home to help raise her brothers and sisters. She married John (Jack) Gremminger on August 17, 1949. She was a devoted wife an mother who eagerly went to work to additionally support the education of her children. For many years, she was employed at Badger Labs which became Wisconsin Pharmical in Jackson, Wisconsin where she retired at age 65. Nancy and Jack enjoyed years of retirement including vacation trips and family visits until Jack passed on May 17, 2011. She continued to enjoy travel with her children for many years after his death until health concerns caused her to need facility care in 2021.

Nancy is survived by her three children; John (Dee) Gremminger; grandchildren; Tessa (Jason) Stoeger, Patricia (Christopher) Reed, and Jayson Gremminger; LeeAnn (Brian) Reindl; grandchildren, Kathryn Lockwood and Abigail (Joel) Vanden Heuvel; and Andrew (Ronna) Gremminger; grandchildren; Rachel Gremminger and David Gremminger. Also survived by loving great grandchildren; Jazmine, Dalton, Finnley, Greta, Liam, Jackson, Marley, Audrey, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Barwick, sister-in-law, Georgia Petersen, and many loving nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, dear husband, Jack Gremminger, sister, Mary (Lawrence) Wohlwend,; brothers, John (Florence) Martin, James (Harriet) Martin, and Hilary Martin; her in-laws, Leo and Esther Gremminger, sister in law, Nancy (Richard) Carr, brother in law, Duane Petersen, and Neil (Patricia) Gremminger

We wish to express gratitude to the staff of Caretta Senior Living for their loving and excellent care, Father Tyler Richardson for his spiritual care, and Heartland Hospice.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on November 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Anne’s Episcopal Church in De Pere, Wisconsin. Visitation with family will begin at 9:30 AM. Fr. Tyler Richardson will be presiding.
