Nancy Francis (Kuczynski) Van Den Elzen passed away February 5, 2021, 1 day before her 85th birthday. Nancy was born on February 6, 1936, in Sobieski, WI, to Anton “Tony” and Cecelia (Waskowiak) Kuczynski. She grew up on a farm. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1954. She briefly worked as an elevator operator at Prange’s in downtown Green Bay. She married Elmer Van Den Elzen on September 17, 1955 in Green Bay. They enjoyed polka dancing. They raised 6 children, first living in Suamico, later moving to Stiles (Lena). Nancy was a homemaker. She loved having visits from her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed her daughter’s gardening, watching the birds and reading.
She is survived by her 6 children: Keith (Linda) Van Den Elzen, Oconto Falls, Debra Rihn, Sun Prairie, Pam (Xavier) Moreno, Monona, Kevin (Fungky) Van Den Elzen, Oconto Falls, Theresa Van Den Elzen, Stiles and Alice (Steve) Dahl, Oconto.
