Nancy Bellin Vandervest, a beacon of love and joy, died peacefully at home, in Luxemburg, WI, on March 28, 2024, at the age of 57, following a one-year battle with cancer. Born on December 17, 1966, Nancy touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness and enduring spirit.
Nancy is survived by the love of her life, Chad, married 37 years, who stood by her side in both joy and sorrow, along with their two children, Amanda and Zach (Viola), and grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Levi, and Noah, mother, Geraldine, siblings, Jerry, Dave, Kenny (Tiki), Theresa (Jim), and Dawn (Jeff), sisters-in-law, Pam (John), Kim (Bill), and Gail (Scott), father-in-law, Dale, and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica, father, Jerry, brother, Chris, mother-in-law, Jeanette, and brother-in-law, Joseph.
Nancy loved camping, adventures, motorcycle rides, and burnouts in the Firebird. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and met a lot of new friends on her journey because she could talk to anyone about anything.
As we bid farewell to Nancy, we celebrate a life filled with compassion, dignity, empathy, and grace. Her journey was one of love, laughter, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to Chad. While we mourn her loss, may her memories continue to shine within us. Thank you to the Unity Hospice staff for the care and compassion they provided Nancy. A special thank you to sister-in-law, Kim, for the support, encouragement, and love she provided Nancy throughout the years.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held in the future to honor Nancy.
