Narcedes E. Thompson, age 84 of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on April 12, 1936 to the late William and Florence (Zilch) Stark in the Town of Hutchins, WI. She attended and graduated from Mattoon High School.
Through the years, Narcedes worked at the Zwicker Knitting Mill and later at Plexus where she retired.
Narcedes’s hobbies included, sewing, making jewelry, playing piano and the accordion and traveling. She loved to go to her land up north and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed playing a good game of cards with her friends. She had a large group of friends she also enjoyed spending time with.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mark (Michelle) Thompson and Connie (Charles) Damsheuser; grandchildren, Wyatt and Bailey Thompson, Amanda (Travis) Ziegler and Sarah (Westley) Ferguson; sister in law, Karen Stark; nieces, Sherry Brazee and Jenny (Jeremy) Yanke; nephew, Jeff Stark; great nephew, Adam Brazee and dear friend, Margaret Schink. Her parents, and brother, Lawrence Stark preceded her in death.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of Narcedes’s life will take place when friends and family can safely gather.
