Neil Reynolds

Neil C Reynolds, 73, Oconto, peacefully passed away early Wednesday morning March 12th after battling back from a stroke and his 40+ year battle with MS long enough to say goodbye to his loving family. He was born September 23rd 1951 and raised in Winfield Kansas where his early years consisted of graduating, working as a letter press printer in Arizona, moving to Wisconsin, where he met his future wife working in Frank & Pat's pizza parlor.

After moving back to Kansas when their first son was 4 months old, Neil supported his new family as a roughneck in the oil fields before painting Cessna airplanes until being diagnosed with MS, and somehow managed to continue working and providing for his family when doctors told him he'd be in a wheelchair within 4 months the rest of his life. For the record he never made it to the wheelchair due to his exceptional toughness and above average stubbornness.

Neil possessed a strong mechanical aptitude all of his life which lead him to his passions of motorcycling, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, going 4 wheeling in his trusty international scout and most importantly hanging out in any garage working on anything he could with his friends and family.

Neil is survived by and deeply missed by his wife Rosemary, and 3 sons John, Shawn(Jody), Dustin, his siblings Marilyn(Ernie) Glotta, Jeannie Calvin, Robert Reynolds, Jovita(Mike) Stenstrude, Kay(Dale) Mcnerny, Laura(Les) Dixon and sister in-law Carolyn and many other friends, and family.

Neil was the 5th child out of 10 born to and preceded in death by Ralph and Barbara Reynolds, brothers Ron, John, James, and granddaughter Sarah.

In his memory we will be continuing a tradition of smoking an already smoked ham for every family holiday.
