Orville (BOB) Guyette, April 28, 1948 (that’s me, by the way) finally won the battle with soft tissue sarcoma. And yes, I won! I’ve been fighting it since 2010. I won because I’m no longer in pain. I’m resting comfortably in the loving arms of Jesus Christ my savior. Though my body has ceased to function, my spirit is as alive as it’s ever been. So, don’t mourn. My life verse is 2 Corinthians 5, verse 8 “Now we are confident and are pleased rather to be absent out of the body, and to be at home with the Lord.”
Longtime preacher of the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ, Dr. J. Vernon McGee always closed his broadcasts with this: “May God richly bless you, my beloved.” That is my wish for all who read this.
