Pamela A. Schlude, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 12, 2018 at Maple Ridge Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Green Bay. She was born in Appleton, WI, September 6, 1945 to the late Floyd and Anita Hartzheim. In High School she won several medals in state singing competitions. She was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Milwaukee. Pamela spent many years caring for the sick and the elderly in nursing homes throughout the valley. During retirement she volunteered at the De Pere Christian Outreach. Pamela enjoyed gardening, crocheting, board games, breeding and caring for Cocker Spaniels and listening to music. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Schlude; a daughter, Melissa “Missy” Rost; son-in-law, Jack Rost. Further survived by two brothers, Phillip and Michael Hartzheim; many other nieces and nephews.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Christine Mork.
A memorial service will be held later.
Her family extends gratitude to the Maple Ridge staff and the Southern Care Hospice for the outstanding compassionate care she and her family received.
