Patricia, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
Patricia was born February 15, 1943 in West Allis, Wisconsin and was the only child of the late Lorraine (Smigelski) Slattery and Austin Slattery. She was a 1960 graduate of Nathan Hale High School and graduated from Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in 1964.
Patricia married her loving husband of 56 years Dennis Dunlavy on October 10, 1964 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple has lived in Clintonville for the past 50 years. Patricia worked as a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing at several area hospitals and nursing homes before retiring. Patricia lived a fulfilling life as a daughter, wife, mother, and friend. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and having her family all together. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cross stitching.
Patricia is survived by her husband Dennis and three daughters: Bridget (Mike) Babino, Shawano; Kerry (Steve) Baird, Clintonville; and Jenny (Doug) Slocum, Macomb, Michigan. Patricia is also survived by five grandchildren, Braxten, Austin, Hannah, Braylyn, and Keira.
It was Patricia’s wish that there be no funeral service. The family hopes to plan a celebration of life ceremony when it is safe for everyone to attend. Patricia was an animal lover. Donations can be made in her name to Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary ( www.heanokill.org ) in Marion.
