Raymond Perry Birdsall III

July 7, 1954 — February 26, 2025

Raymond Perry Birdsall was born July 7, 1954 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 26, 2025. Perry is the son of Raymond Perry (Ray) and Arlene (Artie) Birdsall. He was born in Algoma, Wisconsin, where he lived till he was 11 years old. The family then moved to Laurel, Mississippi where he attended R.H. Watkins High School. He graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1972 after the family relocated to Green Bay. Perry graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science.

Perry worked for Graybar Electronics in Atlanta, Georgia in a number of capacities over the years. During his time living in Atlanta, he enjoyed his local community of friends. He was a member of the Atlanta Eagle’s Club, and participated in many service and social opportunities. Perry had the opportunity to work on Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaign, channeling his love of politics. His hobbies included spending time with family, playing the trombone in his early years, reading, talking history and trivia. Above all else, Perry was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. His wry sense of humor was appreciated by many! 

Perry will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Sara (Tim) Behrendt of Waukesha, Bill (Tracey) Birdsall of Naples, FL, Peter (Ann) Birdsall of Green Bay, Mary (Jeff) Dodd, of Dousman, Barbara (Lee) Rowan of Green Bay and Tim Birdsall of Green Bay. He will further be missed by his many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father Ray and his mother Artie. Perry is further survived by many cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Odd Fellows Home in Green Bay. and Unity Hospice. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Algoma.
