Raymond Jacob Bernard DuVal Jr., 90, born October 8, 1929, died January 9, 2020. During his working years he was a mason and worked for Dick Rutten, Howard Immel Construction, and Bill Hein Construction. He was a “handyman” that could fix anything and sharpen knives with the best of them. He loved fishing, especially at the cottage in Little Sturgeon.
He will be missed by his wife’s daughter, Kareen and her husband, Terry Bogart; his grandchildren, Tom Bogart, Kim (Randy) Hackbarth, Kris (Tom) Norris Van Hulle, Kelly (Rob) Servais, and 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; and his youngest sister, Claudette Janus.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marion Arkens Corbisier DuVal and her brother Mervin Arkens; his father, Ray DuVal Sr; mother, Mary; and brothers: Duane, Alvin, Jim and Cleon; and his sisters, Shirley, Darlene and Clarice.
Per Ray’s wishes, there will be no formal service or visitation.
