Reginald A. Gilliam

July 24, 1970 — June 1, 2024

Reginald "Flip" Gilliam (53) passed away unexpectedly June 1, 2024.  Reginald was born July 24, 1970, in Chicago, IL to Barbara Strickland and Thomas Ramey.  When Reginald was a teen his family moved to Los Angeles, CA.  Here he finished high school and obtained a Job Corp certification in plumbing.  His passion for art landed him jobs for the television show 90210 and the movie House Party, where he was an assistant artist, making sets and props.  Reginald eventually moved back to Chicago and then settled in Green Bay, WI.

Reginald loved to create.  He was a talented artist who could create a masterpiece out of scraps.  Whether it be something he drew, painted, built, recorded or photographed, it became a "Flip Original" and many have recieved  'Flip Original" creations over the years.  He was a jack of all trades.  Several came to him to have something fixed.  He enjoyed teaching others how to repair a vehicle, fix a sink, install appliances, etc.  He found great joy out of helping others.

Reginald will be deeply missed by all.  He was one of a kind and kind to all.

Reginald was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Sheila Jones, brother Paul Gilliam, and sister Ghetana Gilliam.

He is survived by his significant other of 28 years, Jeanne, his children Reginald Gilliam Jr., Devon Gilliam, Elease Gilliam, Olydia Gilliam, several nephews,  nieces, cousins and friends that he considered family.

A service will not be held but rather a celebration of life at a later date.
