Richard "Rick" Belongia

Richard “Rick” Belongia, 57, Green Bay, formerly of Rhinelander, passed away, Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at a local hospital. Born Oct. 21, 1959, in Rhinelander, he is the son of William Belongia and Rosalie (Turcotte) Aho. Rick is a graduate of Rhinelander High School, Class of ’78 and attended Nicolet Area Technical College. While in Rhinelander, he enjoyed his time working as a chef at Holiday Acres. In Green Bay, Rick continued his career as a chef at both the Radisson and the Midway Hotel. He was later employed with Belmark before retiring this past year due to health issues. Rick will be remembered for his enjoyment of reading, computer gaming and his love of the outdoors. Rick is survived by his mother and step-father, Rosalie and Don Aho, Green Bay; father and step-mother, William (Marian) Belongia, Rhinelander; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Nanette Belongia, and Michael Belongia all of Green Bay; nephew, Jacob, Madison; niece, Megan, Green Bay; many other relatives and friends; and...
