Richard (Dick) Schaut
November 5, 1943 — January 6, 2021
Richard R. (Dick) Schaut, New Franken, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, after a long illness. He was born on November 5th, 1943, in Green Bay to Robert F. and Marianne (Vanderbloomen) Schaut.
Dick served in the USAF for four years; three of those in England, where he met his then wife to be, Deidre, in 1964. He loved all sports, football and fishing being his passion. He was always up for a game of cribbage or Pool at the "V" as he called it with fellow veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Deidre (Corrigan) Schaut; sons, Aaron Schaut, Kyle Schaut and Kyle's wife Sonia (DeBauche) Schaut, Green Bay; daughter, Leah (Schaut) Dieterle, Palm Bay FL; brother, Don Schaut, Green Bay; and grandchildren.
His parents and sister, Janet (Schaut) Coerper preceded him in death.
Deidre would like to thank the nurses, Dr. Lawton at the dialysis center at the Veterans clinic in Green Bay, and Dr. Gregory Thom at Aurora hospital for their wonderful care and dedication.
As per his request a private family celebration of life will be held at the appropriate time in lieu of a funeral and visitation. May he RIP. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
