Richard "Richie" Schroeder

Richard “Richie” R Schroeder, of Sheboygan, WI passed away peacefully at the age of 61 at Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI on September 26th, 2021. Richie was born January 26th, 1960 in Chicago IL to Barbara (Zastrow) Zimmerman and the late Ronald Schroeder.

He grew up in Sheboygan and attended many schools on the northside, where he enjoyed playing basketball in his youth. As an adult, he enjoyed Frisbee Golf, assisting as a woodworking leader for children in 4-H, cheering for the Chicago Bears/ Cubs and spending time with his best friend: his daughter Amy Lyn Schroeder. He was currently employed at Nemschoff Chairs and many days could be found riding his bike, or driving by the lake in Sheboygan.

He loved to travel and has many fond memories of his time in Colorado and the Schroeder family reunion in North Carolina.

Richie was preceded in death by his father Ronald Schroeder and brother Michael Schroeder.

Richie was survived by his life partner Judy Wield (and her children and grandchildren), his daughter Amy, Mother Barbara (Zastrow) Zimmerman and Stepfather Richard Zimmerman, Stepmother Arlene Schroeder, Patricia (James) Quinn of Cleveland WI, Ronald (Theresa) Schroeder of Howards Grove WI, Barbara (Michael) Walters of Sheboygan WI, Dawn Zimmerman-Reineking of Sheboygan, WI as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held for Richie at a later date that is still to be determined.
