Richard (Rick) Lancelle, 55, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home after a long battle with cancer, with his wife, Suzie Blom Lancelle, at his side.
Rick enjoyed family and friend gatherings throughout his life which included hunting, fishing trips to Canada with his wife, vacationing, and of course, Fourth of July celebrations at his house. He loved it so much that he became a Pyro Technician. His shows grew every year and became the place to be on this holiday....a celebration for his birthday, July 3rd, but mostly a celebration for others. He also enjoyed cooking for his wife and others.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Suzie; parents: Bonnie (Lancelle) and Danial Hall; his siblings: Vicki (fiancee-Kim Billefluer) Damman, Becky (David) Ambrosy, and Corie (Jesse) Simms; mother-in-law, Virginia Huberty; father-in-law, Bruce Blom; brothers-in-law: Jim (Tammy) Blom, and Wayne (Jodi) Blom; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Lancelle; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and brother-in-law, Kevin Blom, step father-in-law Tony Huberty & step mother-in-law Patricia Blom.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Woods Golf Club, 530 Erie Road, Green Bay.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Unity Hospice for their assisted care throughout his stay at home, and to Hart Design and Manufacturing where he met many friends who supported his journey. A special thank you to his friend, Dan Glinski, his Step Father Dan Hall & his friend Carl Pettey who put on a great fireworks show to help send Rick out in style.
Rick will always be remembered for his genuine heart, his laughter and sense of humor. Fourth of July will never be the same without him...we know you are shining down on us.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting to make a donation to St. Baldricks Foundation in memory of Rick.
