Richard S. Slater

Richard (Dick) Slater, 79, Green Bay, died Saturday, October 4, 2014. Born in Marquette, Michigan he is the son of the late Edward and Jessie (Lowe) Slater. Dick served in the U.S. Navy years ago. Most of his life he was employed as a machinist at Paper Converting. Dick enjoyed golfing and bingo.

Survived by the love of his life: Pat Slater; four children: Bonzo Slater, Vickie Slater, Wayne (Fran) Slater, Kelly Gamez, and Pamela (Victor) Matias; two step children: Tammy and Andy; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two sisters: Eleanor Bowers and Nancy White; one brother: Roy Slater; favorite sister-in-law: Shirley Seidl, nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by one brother: Clyde Slater.
