Robert (Bob) M. VanCampenhout, 87, Green Bay, died unexpectedly at home with Pat by his side on Friday, May 7, 2021. He was born in Green Bay on January 25, 1934 and graduated from East High School. He married Nancy Steeno in 1953 and they were married for 52 years. Nancy died on May 14, 2005. He was proud of his 43 years as a pipefitter/foreman at Northern Paper Mill. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His home of 67 years was a great comfort to him and he especially enjoyed spending time on his deck.
In 2006, he met Pat Strainis and together they experienced many travels. A few of his favorites were Las Vegas, Florida, Virginia and his first cruise to the Caribbean. They truly enjoyed their 15 years together realizing how fortunate they were to have found each other. He was a quiet, hardworking and gentle man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his children: Eric (Denise) VanCampenhout and Wendy (Keith) Kroening, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also...
