Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson, also known by family and friends as "Ole", passed away on October 7, 2023.  He was born September 23, 1946 in Shawano, WI, to the late Harold and Esther (Kupsky) Johnson.  Bob graduated in 1964 from Shawano High School and then went on to Stout University to study drafting.  He then went to the Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville designing ladder buckets for fire trucks. 

Bob loved sports and music.  He loved his tuba which he played in high school and polka bands after that.  His favorite passion was his race car #97, which he raced at Shawano speedway, while working at dad's garage Johnson Service Deep Rock.  His pit crew was quite a good group of friends. 

In 1973 he was united in marriage to Karen Kueschel.  They raised two sons together:  Stuart, who now owns Johnson Auto Service in Shawano.  And Wade, who preceded him in death in 1997 as a result of a car accident.  

There will be a service held at a later date. 

The family appreciates the care given by Theda Care at home and the Waupaca home care CNAs and nurses.
