Roberta “Robin” Osmond peacefully passed away on January 13, 2020 surrounded by her loving family and fur baby Gretchen. She was born to the late Robert and Edna Bishop on October 10, 1947. She fought many medical battles over the last several years and is now at peace with her deceased loved ones and much missed fur and feather babies.
Robin is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Chuck, her son and daughter, Chris and Kirstin, their spouses Kerri and Tony, her five grandchildren, Athena, Christian, Mathea, Jacob and Nicklas, her beloved fur baby Gretchen as well as a number of loving relatives and friends.
Robin was a loving wife, amazing mother, best Gammy ever and expressed her love of all things through her photography and artistic abilities. She most loved playing with her fur babies, taking photos, gardening, star gazing, beach days, camping, bird watching, spending time with her family, long phone calls with far away friends and life in general. Her energy was gentle, loving and contagious to all around her. She always had a way of making even the worst moments positive for all of those she loved.
Robin expressed many times that she did not want her loved ones mourning her at a funeral but rather to celebrate her. She wanted to be cremated and have her ashes eventually combined and spread together somewhere beautiful with her fur babies and husband when the time comes.
We are planning on celebrating her life with an intimate gathering during her favorite season of summer, at her favorite beach. She would want all those that love and miss her, to remember her through the beauty of all things she loved. Celebrate and honor her through simple moments like gazing at the stars, planting flowers in the earth, finding rocks on a beautiful beach and spreading her love for eternity.
Her family would like to thank all those who loved and supported her and all of us through her final days.
