Robin Ellen Wellmaker

Robin Wellmaker, 67, of De Pere, Wisconsin passed on April 07, 2025. She was on dialysis for over 7 years for kidney failure and was able to be with her loved ones hours before her passing. She especially loved seeing her first granddaughter!

Robin was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin at St. Marry's Hospital, on March 13th, 1958 to parents Robert and Patricia (Albers) Hoopingarner. She completed schooling through the 12th grade.

After her first marriage, she married Calvin Wellmaker on January 20th 1996, in Lena, Wi.

Robin enjoyed many job opportunities, though talked most fondly of her time as a librarian.

She loved gardening and planting all sorts of flowers and vegetables, art activities; glass staining/cutting work, drawing, stitching and painting. Pretty much loved being outside all summer as long as the sun was out, and she loved watching the butterflies!!

Robin is survived by her first ex-husband; ex-husband, Calvin Wellmaker; daughter, Rori Baldwin; son, Nicholas (Katrina) Wellmaker; granddaughter, Nyla Wellmaker; younger sister Dawn (Jeff) Oates; aunts, Pam (Roger) Kelter, Paula Albers; uncles, Ronald (Carol) Albers, Roger Albers, Richard Albers; neice, Ashley (George) French III ; nephew, Steven Oates.

She is preceded in death by both parents; and younger brothers Bret and Dale Hoopingarner.

The family would like to thank Dawn Oates (sister) for taking the extra time the last few years to visit and help Robin around the house and with her dialysis therapy. Also, Katrina Wellmaker (daughter in-law) for doing a lot of her running around. A special thank you to, Nick (son) for doing a lot of her house maintenance and errands as her health declined. They shared a very special bond.

Robin was very well Loved. During the last 2 months of life, she was able to hold and get to know her new Granddaughter, Nyla. Her days were filled with Joy!

There was a Quaint Gathering held for family Friday, April 18th, 2025. Celebration of Life Memorial invites were sent out prior.
