Rodney Adrian Hans Reuss (Poppy), 78, Ashwaubenon, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 11, 1939, in Marinette, WI, the son of the late Harry and Victoria (Bouche) Reuss. Rodney enjoyed Hunting, Nascar races, Packer games and weekly trips to Fleet Farm and Menards. Rodney opened up the spring training ball park and worked concessions for the San Francisco Giants spring training games in Scottsdale, AZ for 13 years.
After graduation from Lourdes High, Marinette, WI (Class of 57), Rodney enlisted and served in the Air Force.
He was a Service Technician at Sears in Green Bay for 35 years, and one of the founders of the "Ashwaubenon Rescue Squad". There was nothing he couldn't fix.
On October 24, 1959, he married the love of his life, Joanne Bretl in Menominee, Michigan. They were happily married for 57 years.
Survivors include his wife Joanne, Ashwaubenon, sister, Shirley (Reuss) Schounard, Ashwaubenon, son Todd (Laura) Reuss, children Tristan and Isabel, Winneconne, Jodi (Steve) Trujillo, daughter Victoria (Tori) Reuss, Phoenix, AZ, Troy (Susannah) Reuss children: Jordan, Madison, Annabella, Lincoln and Sienna, Chandler, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in laws; and brother Gerald Bouche.
Visitation will be at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 South Oneida Street, on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Mass will start at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors to follow.
We love and miss you Poppy. You were a good man, who was loved by so many. You will never be forgotten.
