Roger W. Nelson, 81, De Pere, passed away Sunday evening, September 10, 2017, at a local nursing home. Born July 1, 1936, he is the son of the late Elroy and Viola Nelson. Roger faithfully served his country in the US Army. He will be remembered for his selfless dedication to the students at Syble Hopp School and to assisting anyone who needed a helping hand.
He is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Carol Blozinski; and his three children, Roger, Rose and Chris "Kc".
